Sleigh Bells...what can I even say? It was VERY loud, she lip syncs, & needs to learn how to stage dive. Moving right along.
At the beginning of 2010, I never thought that by fall, I would have seen LCD Soundsystem 5 times within 7 months. Their newest album This is Happening, has been on repeat most of the year from start to finish. After having been front row for their set at Virgin Mobile Free Fest just a couple weeks ago, I was still wildly excited to have them in my home town for the first time. Literally so excited that I had been dreaming about the show the night before.
The show was EPIC! Playing for almost 2 hours, their vivacious energy exuded from every note. Within the first couple seconds of their opening track "Dance Yrself Clean," the pit was a sweaty dance party. Once they started "Drunk Girls," it almost felt like the entire floor was shaking. The crowd was in pure euphoria taking in what will be known as the best show in South Florida this year ( if not that last few years.)
The energy level from both the crowd and LCD became undeniable higher with each song. LCD coming to Miami was defiantly monumental, and they made sure you would not forget their visit. They played all the essentials, but missed one of my favorites "Us V Them."
Rating the 5 performances from this year, hands down the Miami show was by far the most phenomenal.

I was at the show myself and believe it was the best show I've ever seen, being at the very front wasn't that bad either. I don't know if Sleigh Bells was as bad as you say though, they were...interesting. "Movement" was insane.
