Emily Wells- the new generation of music.

A couple weeks ago, a friend of mine told me to check out Emily Wells.  For the first time this afternoon, I  listened to  her entire album  The Symphonies: Dreams Memories & Parties. Wells, easily belongs in a genre of her own. While being fluent in the violin, the other sounds on her album are not pre-recorded.  Instead she creates all her sounds organically with the help of toy pianos, old drum machines, and analog synthesizers. It is refreshing to hear someone who is not afraid to mash genres together, while sounding flawless. The album just ended, and I just restarted it again. I could go on for days about Wells, but I'll spare you, and let you listen for yourself.

Emily Wells- Symphony 4 America's Mercy War
Emily Wells- Symphony 5 Was a Surprise
Emily Wells- Fair Thee Well & the Requiem Mix
Emily Wells- Symphony 9 & the Sunshine
Emily Wells- Symphony 3 The Story (Featuring Count Bass D)
